About project

The company develops an application for parking reservations in Finland. Authorized travel parks in good locations, easy to use, parking slots and additional services conveniently online. Backend is built using AWS technologies and Node.js, Front-end is built with React.

Your area of responsibility

  • Work on the core product, adding new features, both on the backend and on the frontend of a web application, development of a completely new product, implementation of new functionality
  • Solve complex problems to develop software that gives people back time and reduces their transportation frustration, saves money, and makes the world a better place.
  • Develop and implement web applications based on JavaScript
  • Implement solutions by cloud-based services
  • Take part in code review and refactoring, trouble-shooting the live service
  • Learn new technologies and hone skills to create scalable, highly performant web applications.
  • Think about things that no one has thought of yet
  • Work with highly agile teams

Skills and requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in User Interface development using Javascript
  • Strong experience with frameworks NodeJS and ReactJS
  • Experience in front-end / back-end integration
  • Excellent knowledge of HTML/CSS/Typescript standards and tools
  • Good knowledge of SQL
  • Collaborative, self-starter and strong customer focus.
  • English intermediate level or higher
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

Will be a plus

  • Hands-on experience of working in an Agile environment
  • Experience with cloud-based services, preferable AWS
  • Test-Driven Development
